Faith in Action – Building a Better Community through Community Engagement
Crime, gun violence, healthcare, firings, layoffs, social security concerns, government accountability, education take-over, housing, and so many more issues are impacting us, our families, and our community. Progress is being turned back, and our voices are not being heard. These issues and situations leave us wondering what can be done to move us from fear to faith to action.
To support our community in navigating the “rocky” road ahead and move us from fear to faith to action, “Faith in Action—Building a Better Community through Civic Engagement,” a collection of various individuals and organizations, will present a series of civic engagement meetings focusing on issues that impact our community.
In a series of monthly sessions, we will present and discuss issues we are all concerned about, ask the public to participate in the discussion to bring about solutions, prepare a response to contribute to those with authority and responsibility to make the change, and finally, use the power of prayer to sustain us and bring about the success of our efforts.
